Marc H. Rapaport


Marc is a principal at Thorofare Capital and brings a wide range of operational, management and investing expertise to the firm. Marc leads the credit approval process for the firm’s investment committee and is directly involved with the capital formation of each of Thorofare Capital’s investment strategies. Marc began his investment banking career at Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1983. In 1990, he co-founded the Capital Markets Division of Jefferies and Company, Inc. From 1995 until 1998, Marc was Chairman of the Los Angeles Galaxy and one of the founders of Major League Soccer, LLC. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Marc received his Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1978 and his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1981.
