Thorofare Capital has funded $2,735,345 for the acquisition of a 136 Key, 115,091 square foot Radisson hotel located in Huntsville, Alabama. Prior to closing, the buyer invested the remaining $190,000 to complete a $2,500,000 PIP of the property as required by Radisson Hotels International. The former owner, a hotel syndicator, was forced to sell the property due to a maturing loan.

The property is an interior corridor hotel that was built in 1986 and fully renovated from September 2012 through March 2013. The two-story property and contains 115,091 square feet of gross building area. In addition to 136 guestrooms, the hotel offers a restaurant, bar, meeting space, business center, fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool.

The hotel is located on the south side of Madison Boulevard, east of its intersection with Sullivan Street. Boundaries of the property include Interstate 565 to the south, Sullivan Street to the east, the railroad line to the north, and Hughes Road to the west. The property benefits from its proximity to Red Stone Arsenal, a United States Army Post that contains a population of 1,946 and a government and contractor workforce with personnel and that averages 36,000 to 40,000 personnel daily.
