Thorofare Capital has funded a $13 million bridge loan for the acquisition of Sonny Perdue Logistics Center, a 2020-built, Tier 1 Logistics/Warehouse facility in Savannah, Georgia.
The asset provides 32’ minimum clear height, 30 dock-high doors and abundant auto and trailer spaces with a 185’ truck court. Thorofare closed the loan in 10 business days from application to funding, enabling the sponsor to acquire the asset upon its construction completion.
The park is located at the corner of Sonny Perdue Drive and Dean Forest Road, just 3.9 miles from the main gate of the Garden City Terminal. The location provides quick and easy access to the entire southern market area. The Port of Savannah is considered one of the United States’ fastest growing container ports, projecting +/- 8 million containers annually by 2027. Sonny Perdue Logistics Center provides unrivaled access to the terminals via Dean Forest Road, and immediate proximity to both I-16 and I-95.
The sponsor is a private investment group that is an affiliate of a logistics, warehousing, express delivery, and ground transportation services company in the United States.
