Scott Sumida

Scott Sumida is a Director on the Originations team at Thorofare Capital, where he is responsible for sourcing, screening, structuring, and underwriting commercial real estate debt opportunities throughout the Pacific Northwest and Mountain regions. In his role, Scott works closely with borrowers, brokers, and capital markets participants to originate, analyze, and close real estate capital transactions. He also oversees the transaction process from initial screening through closing. Scott has experience evaluating commercial real estate debt investments across a broad range of property types and markets.

Prior to joining Thorofare Capital, Scott was a Certified General Appraiser within CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services division. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Oregon.
